Mithali Raj: We decided to field because of the history of the ground. Heard people saying that this ground is good for chasing and we also played a few practice games. Those are the two reasons why we decided to bat first. Well, if she (Lee) gets going then its like…**pauses for a fleeting while** I can’t describe. Her shots were clean and it’s one of the best innings I have seen in the World Cups against us. Australia are one of the best sides in the world and it’s not going to be easy. We really have to play really well to win our next 2 games. Obviously doesn’t feel good to not contribute to the team with the bat, but in sport such things happen. Have to move on.

Dane van Niekerk, Player of the Match: I think Lee deserves it more than I do. I’m just glad to be able to perform well for my team. I wanted to take it deep with the bat, struggled a bit but got the desired score towards the end. We came here for 2 points and we got it. Everyone chipped in and I couldn’t have asked for any better. We stuck to her plans and it came off today.
