Yorkshire vs Durham
Adil Rashid’s four-wicket haul helped Yorkshire defend a modest total of 152 to pick up their fourth win to strengthen their hold on the top spot in the North Group after a 24-run win over Durham at Headingley in Leeds on Wednesday (July 26). Durham are the only side in the Group that have been unable to register a win in the competition so far, slipping to their sixth straight loss
Willey and Bresnan backed that with the early wickets of Graham Clark and Cameron Steel in successive balls to set Durham back. Michael Richardson resisted Yorkshire’s attack slowly in the middle. Stuart Poynter top-scored with a 24-ball 35 but Durham’s batsmen failed to counter Yorkshire’s bowlers with ease which had them end their innings with 128 for 7 in 20 overs.
Scores: Yorkshire 152/8 in 20 overs (David Willey 44, Shaun Marsh 36; Paul Collingwood 3-32) beat Durham 128/7 in 20 overs (Stuart Poynter 35; Adil Rashid 4-19) by 24 runs.
Nottinghamshire vs Worcestershire
NatWest t20 Blast 2017 in as many as seven games after first, putting up a massive 208 on the board, and then defending it, against Nottinghamshire in a high-scorer. After having put Worcestershire in to bat at Trent Bridge, Nottinghamshire would have rued letting them cross the 200-run mark for the first time in the tournament.
