Colin Ingram’s second hundred of the tournament helped Glamorgan beat Essex in an astonishing run chase in Chelmsford. Ingram hammered nine sixes in his 55-ball 114 as Glamorgan achieved the second highest chase in the history of English domestic T20 cricket. Ingram added 83 runs for the fourth wicket with Chris Cooke to help his side inch closer but Essex revived hopes of a win by getting rid of both the batsmen in the space of three deliveries.

But de Grandhomme smashed three boundaries on the trot in the 18th over to bring the equation down to 24 off 12.
