Natwest T20 wrap- Ingram's brisk ton gives Glamorgan historic win

Essex vs Glamorgan

Brief scores: Essex 219/4 in 20 overs (Varun Chopra 103*, Ravi Bopara 63; Michael Hogan 2-42) lost to Glamorgan 224/5 in 20 overs (Colin Ingram 114, Chris Cooke 49; Ravi Bopara 1-33) by 5 wickets.
Colin Ingram’s second hundred of the tournament helped Glamorgan beat Essex in an astonishing run chase in Chelmsford. Ingram hammered nine sixes in his 55-ball 114 as Glamorgan achieved the second highest chase in the history of English domestic T20 cricket. Ingram added 83 runs for the fourth wicket with Chris Cooke to help his side inch closer but Essex revived hopes of a win by getting rid of both the batsmen in the space of three deliveries.

Warwickshire vs Leicestershire

Brief scores: Leicestershire 147/9 in 20 overs (Luke Ronchi 46, Cameron Delport 37; Boyd Rankin 3-26, Grant Elliott 2-10) beat Warwickshire 138/8 in 20 overs (William Porterfield 30, Colin de Grandhomme 24; Colin Ackermann 3-21, Clint McKay 2-35) by 9 runs.

Leicestershire withstood a late onslaught from New Zealand allrounder Colin de Grandhomme to register a narrow nine-run win over Warwickshire at Edgbaston in Birmingham. Chasing a modest 148, Warwickshire were struggling at one stage after losing Grant Elliot, needing another 50 runs off 27 balls. But de Grandhomme smashed three boundaries on the trot in the 18th over to bring the equation down to 24 off 12.
