Natwest T20 North Group Wrap - Hales ton helps Notts pull off record chase

Nottinghamshire vs Yorkshire

England opener Alex Hales hit an incredible 47-ball 101 to help Nottinghamshire pull off a stunning chase in their T20 Blast North Group clash against Yorkshire. It was Nottinghamshire’s highest run-chase as they scaled 224 with five balls to spare and five wickets in hand. Hales and Riki Wessels began the chase in blistering fashion by scoring 82 runs in the first five overs.
Scores: Yorkshire 223/5 in 20 overs (Adam Lyth 59, Shaun Marsh 47; Samit Patel 3-29) lost to Nottinghamshire 225/5 in 19.1 overs (Alex Hales 101, Brendan Taylor 41; David Willey 2-52) by 5 wickets.

Derbyshire vs Leicestershire

Chasing 105, the home side would have been fairly confident of winning the contest easily but Leicestershire were not willing to go down without a fight. Matt Critchley had to leave retired hurt in the very first over after getting hit on the helmet and then Dieter Klein struck twice to peg the hosts further back.
