Mithali Raj: “We had a few anxious moments when we lost the top-order quickly. It was one of those off days for them. I thought the partnership between Sushma Verma (33 off 35) and Jhulan Goswami (14 off 36) was crucial, as it took us past 150. After we got to 160, we knew it could be anybody’s game.”

Sana Mir (Pakistan Captain): “This has been our best bowling performance against India. The 20-30 runs we gave away in the death overs helped them. Our fielding was good. Diana (Baig) brings a lot of spark to the team, she is a great athlete. Nashra Sandhu, who was our best bowler in the qualifier, bowled very well. With the bat, our top-order played too many cross-batted shots across the line, and if you play those shots against disciplined bowling, then you can’t do much about it.”
